Quality Assurance and The Environment
At Changes Landscapes Limited we take our responsibilities to the environment extremely seriously, as well as ensuring we comply with our legal duties under the Environment Act, we are constantly reviewing and improving our activities to improve our impact on the environment, these include:

Our uniformed staff are trained to comply with the legislation for the use of herbicides and have attended Writtle College to achieve a PA1 and PA6 certificate, which is a legal requirement.

We carry an Upper Tier Waste Carriers Licence, which is a legal requirement to remove and responsibly dispose of any waste from commercial sites.

Changes Landscapes Ltd are apart of the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).

We monitor and minimise our fuel consumption and emissions using a vehicle tracking system. Our vehicles are regularly serviced every six months, and our fleet is renewed to minimise any impact on emissions to the environment.

We recycle all material generated by our activities. This consists of hiring a commercial shredder to shred all our green waste which is then recycled once a year.

All our staff are fully trained in machine operations and associated safe practices.

All staff receive first aid training annually, and all vehicles carry full first aid kits.

Work procedures are continually monitored and reviewed for best practices.

Machinery and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are regularly maintained to the highest standards. We are constantly updating our machinery and PPE to have the most current equipment possible. This allows us to work more effectively on site.

Regular audits are made of staff, PPE, machinery, and Changes Landscapes Ltd vehicles allowing us to identify any defects and replace where required.

We maintain a safe working environment and we comply fully with the provisions of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
